It is time for another new release of stamps & Cutaways from Winnie & Walter!!  For you chance to win all of the new stamp sets, check out the Big Giveaway post on the Winnie & Walter blog!

Today we are sharing a new stamp series called In Bloom, and new additions to the Essentials & In A Word cutaways.  You can see a full reveal of both stamp & cutaway sets, plus enter for your chance to win them on today's Winnie & Walter blog post.

For my first card I am showcasing one of the new In A Word cutaways, & combined them with cutaways from yesterdays The Big, the Bold and FriendsCheck it out:
This big "hi" just screamed shaker card to me, and adding some rainbow goodness seemed like a perfect fit!  I used a lot of white cardstock so that the colors would just pop!  I think it turned out so cute & fun!

Card Challenges:

For my next card I used the first of the new In Bloom stamp sets, and combined them with the new Essentials cutaways.  I also used both the stamps & cutaways from The Big, the Bold & Comfort that we introduced yesterday.  Here is what came about:
I kept this card clean & simple by stamping the tag from the Essentials cutaways using the In Bloom stamp set.  I layered it to the lower corner of the card, along with the sentiment I've created & some pretty embellishments.

Card challenges:

Winnie & Walter April/May release - Day 1

April 28, 2015

It is time for another new release of stamps & Cutaways from Winnie & Walter!!  For you chance to win all of the new stamp sets, check out the Big Giveaway post on the Winnie & Walter blog!

Today we are sharing some new stamps & dies in The Big, The Bold series...and I just know you are going to love them!!  You can see a full reveal of both stamp & cutaway sets, plus enter for your chance to win them on today's Winnie & Walter blog post.

For my first card I am showcasing the The Big, the Bold and Friends stamp set + cutawayCheck it out:
I created a rainbow watercolor background using Tim Holtz distress inks, and then stamped & diecut the sentiment directly to it.  After adhering the painted block to a white card base, I accented it with jewels to finish.

For my second card I am showcasing The Big, the Bold and Comfort stamp set & Cutaways.  Here is what I came up with:
I stuck with a watercolor background for this card, but chose muted & serene blues to keep with the mood of the sentiment.  I diecut part of the sentiment from gold paper & adhered it to the watercolor.  I finished it by stamping the remaining part of the sentiment above the diecut.

These stamps & dies are going to be an awesome addition to your The Big, The Bold collection.  All of our new stamps & dies will be available for purchase on May 1st in the Winnie & Walter store...so start making your wishlist!!

I hope you have an awesome day!

Until later,

LID April Release - Day 3

April 21, 2015

Welcome to the final of the Lil' Inker Designs April release!  I've got a cute little card & envelope to share with you today, so let's get right to it!

At first I wasn't so sure about how small these are, but once I created this...I thought about how beautiful they would look on gift packaging & gift bags, and truly fell in love with them!
To create this I diecut the petal card from patterned paper, then folded the flaps.  Then I diecut a square that would fit inside of the card from cream cardstock.  I stamped the sentiment to the top of the cardstock in black ink.  I diecut the floral cuts from cream cardstock, stamped them & adhered them underneath the sentiment.  I folded the petal card back up & slipped it into a glassine envelope.  Then I diecut the flowers & leaves for the front from patterned paper, and layered together with a jewel accent.  I adhered the layered flower to the envelope front so that the top of the envelope would be held in place by a petal.

LID April Release - Day 2

April 20, 2015

Welcome to day 2 of the Lil' Inker Designs April release!  I've got 3 cards to share with you today, so I am going to get right to it!

Up first is a rainbow colored card that I think would be awesome to give to an upcoming graduate!!  It's clean & simple & full of watercolor...check it out!

I stamped & embossed the connected circles to the front of a watercolor paper block.  Then I painted the circle parts in a rainbow gradient using distress inks.  Once dry, I stamped & embossed the sentiment to it, then accented with jewels.  Then I mounted the watercolor block to an A2 cardbase with foam adhesive.

LID Supplies:

For my next card I created a fun friendship themed shaker card!  Check it out:

To start I diecut the speech bubble from a white cardstock block, then backed it with a clear sheet.  I stamped the sentiment to the clear sheet in white StazOn ink, then covered the back in foam squares.  I added a block of patterned paper to the middle of a light blue cardbase, and poured sequins to the middle of it.  Then I adhered the white cardstock block to the front, secured the adhesive & then shook the sequins loose.  To finish I diecut the word "seriously" from red cardstock & accented it with enamel dots.

For my last card, I did another clean & simple watercolor card.  Here it is!
To start I painted a watercolor paper block with distress inks, then splattered it with black watercolor.  I stamped the sentiment to a thin white cardstock strip, then trimmed the edges into an arrow shape.  I layered the sentiment strip to the front with a knot of gold thread.  Then I accented with enamel dots to finish.
