I will put all of the blog hop details at the end of my post, but how about we get to my card first? Today I've used the new Poppy Bouquet stencil with the Reverse Happy sentiment strips. I love when I get these in the mail! They help cards come together so quickly because all you have to do is trim them down.

I ink blended the poppy stencil with Distress Oxide inks in Candied Apple, Festive Berries and Twisted Citron. I carefully blended one flower at a time, using a few pieces of purple tape to mask off the stems as I went. Then I reversed that process for the green stems. I did blend a little bit of Detail Black hybrid ink to the centers of the poppies. Once the ink blending was complete, I diecut the panel with the largest Essentials: Stitched Rectangle. I added some white splatters with Amsterdam titanium white acrylic ink, then let them dry.

I mounted the ink blended panel to the front of an A2 black cardbase, then accented the poppy middles with iridescent black jewels from the Essentials: Jewels Mix. I trimmed the Happy Birthday sentiment into a very thin strip, then adhered it to the front with Darice foam strips to finish.

My card today is fairly simple and easy to create, but I think the poppies pack a punch! If you have any questions about this card, leave them in the comments and I will be sure to reply.

How about we get to all the fun blog hop info now?

We've got a fantastic blog hop lineup and prizes at every stop! I'll get to all of that info at the end of my post, but how about we get to my cards first?

This is my first card set using both stamp sets, plus a couple of the gorgeous papers from the Celebrate collection. Of course, I've also used a lot of our Essentials collection to help bring the designs together and give them those beautiful finishing touches.

"Celebrate every little thing" card supplies:
For this card I heat embossed the floral image in gold, then painted with Pinkfresh Studio liquid watercolors in Bubblegum, Clementine, Sunshine & Key Lime. I mixed some of those colors to create my own custom colors as well! I just loosely colored the image in.

I diecut the florals, then added white splatters to it. I chose a patterned paper background, and stamped & heat embossed the sentiment. After assembling the card, I accented with our crystals mix.

"Thankful for You" card supplies:
I went slimline with this card, and added snippets of the beautiful patterned paper peeking through the circles. I stamped the layered floral in 3 shades of our premium dye inks and diecut them. I splattered them with white paint as well.

I layered them to the card front, and added the sentiment to the lower right corner. I finished by accenting each circle with the coordinating color of crystals.

If you have any questions about these cards, leave them in the comments and I will be sure to reply.

I have another set of cards to share with you today, featuring this gorgeous collection of products!

"You are totally worth celebrating" card supplies:
On this card I attempted no line coloring for the first time with our liquid watercolors. I am pleased with how it turned out, even though it is not perfect. It's harder this way than using water based markers, but you mostly just have to be patient. I added both white & gold splatters to this floral piece after diecutting it.

I layered the card up with a patterned paper background and glittered frame. The sentiment is a mix of diecutting & stamping, and I accented with crystals to finish.

"Prayers for you" card supplies:
For this card I stamped the layered floral in two different color families, then covered it completely in glitter after diecutting.

I layered the card up with a patterned paper background and glittered frame. The sentiment is a mix of diecutting & stamping, and I accented with crystals to finish.

If you have any questions about these cards, leave them in the comments and I will be sure to reply.

Pinkfresh Studio June 2020 Pop Out Stamp and Die Release Blog Hop

June 12, 2020

Happy Friday, crafty friends! It's release day at Pinkfresh Studio, and we are so excited to bring our our brand new stamp & die release from Pinkfresh Studio!

This release includes (6) red rubber background stamps, (3) complementary background dies and (2) coordinating die sets. This is a full release of the Pop Out Background stamps we first introduced in April, and we think you are going to just LOVE it! I am so excited to share all of my card samples with you, but first, here is at all the new products.
  JUNE 2020 RELEASE

I've created a new product intro video for you today, with information on all these new stamps & dies. You can watch it below, but be sure to click HERE and leave a comment for a chance to win the entire June 2020 release!

We've got a fantastic blog hop lineup and prizes at every stop! I'll get to all of that info at the end of my post, but how about we get to my cards first?

Pop Out Diagonal Stripes, Rainbow and Straight Stripes
In our last release we introduced our Color Block die series, and these are the complementary Pop Out Background stamps to those dies. Keep in mind that they don't coordinate, but you can definitely use the outlines from the straight stripes and rainbow, or diecut first then stamp. I focused on creating these beautiful striped backgrounds in a beachy color combo using our premium dye inks. (Colors used: Peach Fuzz, Sweet Mustard, Apricot, Berrylicious, Sky Blue, Aquamarine, Passion Fruit - all linked at the end of the post.)

This first card features the Pop Out: Rainbow background stamp, plus I also used the outline from the Color Block Rainbow die. I turned it into a shaker card, which was easy with the frame I was able to create with our Essentials: Stitched Rectangles die set. The sentiment is from the Pop Out: Hexagon & Layered Script Words stamp sets, and cut using the coordinating Layered Script Words die set. I filled the shaker with an assortment of colors from our Essentials: Crystals Mix, only using the smallest crystal size.

This card features the Pop Out: Diagonal Stripes background stamp. After stamping the background I cut it with the largest Essentials: Stitched Rectangle. Then I diecut a white cardstock panel with the Essentials: Slim Braided Circles die. I diecut the Sentiment Suite: Hello word die three times: once from champagne glitter paper and twice from white cardstock, then stacked & adhered them. I finished the card by accenting with trios of our Essentials: Crystals Mix.

The third card in this set features the Pop Out: Straight Stripes background stamp, which I covered completely a glitter mix. I did a terrible job diecutting the panel, so I diecut a thin frame using the Essentials: Diagonal Stitched Rectangles die set, and covered that bad diecut job. Lol! The sentiment is a mix from our Layered Script Words and Simple Blossoms, and they are adhered/stamped to labels cut using our Essentials: Basic Label Frames. I finished the card by accenting with trios of our Essentials: Crystals Mix.

This beachy color combo was inspired by a card my friend Laura Bassen did during our April release. She is such a color combo genius!

Pop Out Sunburst
This card features the Pop Out Sunburst background stamp in a rainbow gradient of our premium dye inks. (Colors used: Coral Reef, Candy Apple, Clementine, Sunshine, Grassy Knoll, Aquamarine, Candy Violet - all linked at the end of the post.) The mountains were cut using our Falling for You coordinating die set. The snowcaps have to be stamped with that stamp set, and it is a little more "bubbly" than I wanted this card to look. So I grabbed the Skiing By die set and found that the smallest snowcap die from that set fits these mountain tops perfectly! I cut three of them to top the gray mountains.

I did a terrible job diecutting this panel too (I'm not sure what my deal was this week - I've just been a little off), so I created a thin frame from our Essentials: Stitched Rectangles to cover up my mistake. I also cut the mountain layer with the Stitched Rectangle in order to make it match. The sentiment comes from our Scripted Bold Sentiments 1 and Simply Sentiments: Hello stamp sets. I stamped them in our Detail Black ink, then accented with our Essentials: Crystals Mix to finish.

I have SO many more ideas with the Sunburst set! I've got a REALLY cute shaker card in mind, but I had already made a couple of those for this release, so I decided to save that for a different day.

Pop Out Diamonds & Simply Diamonds die
This final card set is a two-fer! I ink blended this pastel rainbow panel using an assortment of our premium dye inks, splattered it with white acrylic ink and then diecut it with the Simply Diamonds die. (Colors used: Coral Reef, Passion Fruit, Apricot, Lemon Whip, Mint, Ocean Breeze, Soft Lilac - all linked at the end of the post.) Next I cut the same die from white cardstock. I separated the inside parts from the outside parts so I could use them on two different cards.

I heat embossed the florals in gold, then stamped the sentiment from our Pop Out Diamonds stamp set to white cardstock. I diecut the sentiment layer and the gold layer using our Essentials: Fancy Label Frames, and layered them over top of a knot of gold thread.

I turned the second card into a shaker, using a mix of flat backed pearls & jewels as my shaker mix. I diecut part of the sentiment from gold & vellum using the Phrase Builder: Sending die set, then stamped the word love with our Layered Script Words stamp set. I layered them over a knot of gold to the card front as well.

Those are all the cards I have for you today! If you have any questions at all, be sure to leave them in the comments.
