Nina B Designs Dream Team April Blog Hop

April 15, 2012

Welcome to the NinaB Designs's 2nd blog hop! We had a great time last month and we just want to thank you for your enthusiasm and encouraging words. The NBD team has new projects to show you today featuring NinaB Designs Spellbinders™ Paper Arts (Home Sweet Home and Sewing Elements), The Craft's Meow Stamps, and Want2Scrap bling. We have added a new twist to our hop. Not only do we have tons of inspiration for you, but we also are joining in the Crafty Friends' challenge that you can participate in. And of course, there will be prizes up for grabs! You will find more info below.  So now that some of the details are out of the way, here is what I created for the blog hop!!

"You Are A Star" supplies
Cardstock: Bazzill Basics (grey)
Paper/Chipboard/Button: My Mind's Eye (Follow Your Heart "Be Amazing" 6x6 paper pad)
Stamps: The Craft's Meow (Telegram set)
Ink: Tsukineko (Versafine: onyx black)
Twine: May Arts
Border Punch: Fiskars (upper crest)
Diecut Machine: Cuttlebug by Provo Craft
Dies: Spellbinders (Home Sweet Home set) *pictured below

Instructions:  Make card from grey cardstock.  Cut white hexagon paper slightly smaller and adhere.  Cut two strip of patterned paper and adhere to the left side.  Fussy cut a section of hexagons from patterned paper and adhere to the top of the paper strips with foam adhesive.  Stamp the sentiment to a yellow gingham paper strip and adhere to the bottom of the hexagons.  Diecut two stars from patterned papers.  Adhere the striped star to the right of the sentiment using foam adhesive.  Tie a double bow from twine, tread a button around the center and adhere to the middle of the striped star.  Punch an upper crest border to white hexagon paper and adhere below the sentiment.  Thread the smaller diecut star with twine, then adhere to the left of the striped star.  Thread a chipboard button with twine and adhere to one of the left hand hexagons.  Thread three chipboard banner pieces with twine, and adhere to the upper right corner to finish.

I have created my card for some challenges, which will be linked up at the very bottom of this post.  For now, let's get back to the details of the blog hop!

THE CHALLENGE:

THE RULES:
Leave a comment on as many blog hop stops as possible. FOUR commenters left on the NinaB Designs team blogs will be picked to win prizes. One comment per blog please. This is open to our international friends. Here are the links to the NBD team:

THE PRIZES:
There are several prizes to be won. One Crafty Friends' challenge blog participant will be randomly picked to get the Spellbinders' Sewing Elements dies
