Winnie & Walter October Release - Day 4

October 31, 2014

Happy Halloween, blog friends!  And welcome to the final day of the Winnie & Walter October release!  Here is what is on the agenda for today:
  • Stampets: Penguin
  • Stampets: The Gift
  • Stampets: Turkey

You can enter to win these stamp sets on today's Winnie & Walter's blog post!! These stamp sets have some fantastic sentiments that are super tiny.  And I LOVE that about them...there is something about a teeny sentiment that feels trendy to me, & allows me to think of a really cool design.  I used one of the sentiments from Stampets: Turkey, and here is what I created!
I just love all the white here, with a little bit of gold.  I know it's not the most traditional fall themed card, but considering it is more of a love themed card anyways....it doesn't really matter!!  Plus gold + vellum + white = a little bit of Lea heaven!!  :)

All stamps + Creative Screenings + Cutaways will be available for purchase tonight at the Winnie & Walter shop!  I would love to hear what your must haves are so far!  Before that, be sure to check out what the rest of the Winnie & Walter Talent created with our featured products, as I am sure it is going to be a treat!  I'm going to make myself a latte & do the same!

I hope that you've enjoyed my Winnie & Walter October release posts this week!  I will be using these new products a lot in the coming months, & would love for you to continue to check back!!  Feel free to like me on my Lea Lawson Creates facebook page, and add yourself as a follower to my blog in the right hand column!  Over there.--------------------->   :)

Have a super fun Halloween!!

Until later,
~L.

P.S. Want to see some cute photos from our Halloween Eve with the neighbors?  Here you go!  {BTW- my husband is an amazing pumpkin carver.  He did Yoda last year....and Darth Vader this year.  He rock in my opinion.}

Lil Inker Designs October Release - Day 3

October 30, 2014

Hey there, blog friends!  Welcome to the final day of the Lil' Inker Design's October release!  As I've stated before, we've got 4 new stamp sets, and 8 new dies for you this month.  You can check them out & make your purchase under the Latest Release section of the website!

My blog has been covered in Christmas the past few days, so for today I thought I would share my projects using the non-holiday themed items we are releasing!

First up is a rainbow watercolor card using the new "I'm All You're All" stamp set & Speech Bubble dies. You all know I adore to make rainbow cards, and I am so excited about how this one turned out!
 I used my Tim Holtz Distress Inks to create the blended watercolor rainbow.  I then stamped part of the sentiments to diecut vellum bubbles, and let everything dry.  After that this card came together very easily...just some foam tape & some pretty jewels to accent.

For my next project I focused on the Donut themed items in this release.  I created a sweet little gift that you could give to a co-worker, teacher, pastor....really anyone!!  Check it out!
  I love this cute sentiment, and would definitely be great as a"Thank You" to someone.  If you were giving it to someone you weren't very close to, I would maybe suggest using a less personal sentiment....there are some other great ones in the stamp set.

Do you want a chance to win a $15 gift certificate to Lil' Inker Designs to put towards your purchase this month?  {Seriously...who wouldn't?!}  Then be sure to hop along to each of the designer's blogs & leave a comment.  The more blogs you visit & comment, the better your chances are at winning!!  Here is a link list in case you need the whole thing:

Thanks for checking out my cards tonight!!  I hope that they inspired you!  I also wanted to let you know that I have started my Lea Lawson Creates Facebook page in order to separate my personal Facebook profile from my crafting.  This is a great way to follow my work on Facebook without having to personally be friends....I am paring my Facebook friends list down to just family & close friends in the next couple of months.  If you want to keep in touch with me on Facebook, I would love for you to like my page, and then turn on the notifications!!  (To do that just click on the drop-down menu in the same place you clicked the "Like" button first.)  I will link up my blog posts, post images of all my projects, ask fun crafty questions so we can get to know each other better, etc.  It is all part of wanting to be more intentional in all the avenues of my life, and I actually think this will help me get to know my crafting friends better. :)

That is the end of our release week, but I know I will be using these products a lot!  Feel free to like my Facebook page above & click to follow my blog in the right hand column in case you want to stay up to date with all of my projects from now on!  Have a great Friday!

Until later,
~L.

Winnie & Walter October Release - Day 3

Hi blog friends!  Wow...it's been a busy week on my blog! If you are looking for my Lil' Inker Designs release day 2, CLICK HERE or just scroll through this post to the next one.

Welcome to day 3 of the Winnie & Walter October release!!  Here is what we are showcasing today!
  • Happy Christmas
  • The Big, The Bold and The Merry
  • Cutaways

 Why, yes....you've read that right!  Winnie & Walter is getting into the business of dies!  I'm sure you've seen peeks of them throughout the week so far, & they are amazing!  We are releasing 4 sets that match some of The Big, The Bold stamps.  You can enter for your chance to win these three items on today's Winnie & Walter blog post!

I've used all three items on my card today, and I used the matching Cutaways from The Big, The Bold and The Merry.  I made a fun shaker card, and once again I way overfilled the shaker part.  Lol!  I can't seem to stop pouring sequins when I make these!!
You are going to just love the Cutaways...I've used them on a few different cards so far, and they are just plain amazing!  And the wreath from the Happy Christmas stamp set is one of my FAVES!  It would look pretty awesome at Easter as well....{must stash this in my brain to remember in about 4-5 months.  Lol!}

Be sure to check out what the rest of the Winnie & Walter Talent created with our featured products, as I am sure it is going to be a treat!  I'm going to make myself a latte & do the same!

I will be back tomorrow, sharing my final day of projects with our new products!  Have an awesome Thursday!!

Until later,
