About Lea

There are three things you should know about me. I love coffee, Jesus and Ed Sheeran. (Maybe not in that order...)

Hi! I'm Lea. Wife to Josh and mom to 2 precious babies in Heaven, Ellie & Layton.

I am a dog mama to Bailey. the grumpy...I mean precocious yorkie, and Sadie, the sweet but not so smart cocker spaniel. (We always tell her that she's lucky she's so pretty!)

I have a deeply rooted faith. Not because my life has been all cupcakes & rainbows…quite the opposite actually. I'm living this life day to day without two babies that we prayed for, longed for and wanted to keep so badly.  There isn't a day that goes by where I don't long for them, and grieve their absence.

On this journey, I’ve learned that the love of God is never fleeting, even in your darkest of hours. I’ve learned of everlasting compassion. I’ve found that there can be joy, even amidst heartbreak.

I took a step back from my creative life in order to let myself grieve in the way I needed to. I am now learning to create through the hurt.  And I am also learning that Ellie & Layton inspire me to be creative in ways that I never thought possible.

I was created to be creative.  I am a photographer.  I am a paper crafter.  And I love this amazing industry so much.

Welcome to my little part of this beautifully creative world.  I'm happy you're here. :)

---------------------------------------------------------

I have been crafting in some shape or form for as long as I can remember. When I was younger, I would use stationary items (Lisa Frank was my idol) and stickers, then cut up my photos (EEEK!) and arrange them together. The finished product would hang all over my walls and closet doors. When I graduated from high school, my aunt Amy gave me a scrapbooking kit, and my love affair with paper crafting began...

I have "formally" been part of the paper crafting industry since 2002, and have been blessed to work as a creative team member for multiple manufacturers & stores over the years.

Back in the magazine day I was a Creating Keepsakes Hall of Fame winner, and Scrapbooker of the Year finalist.  My layouts and cards have graced the pages of numerous magazines that are no longer, including Creating Keepsakes, Paper Crafts, Cards Magazine {& all it's sister magazines), Memory Makers & many more.

Now my paper crafting primarily revolved around making cards, but I also love to create gift packaging with my products and I dabble in digital scrapbooking/Project Life.

I am currently the Marketing Director for Pinkfresh Studio, and count myself lucky to be able to do what I love full-time. I regularly create projects & videos as a guest for Spellbinders, participate in Simon Says Stamp's monthly release and do international design work for Alexandra Renke in addition to my full-time job with Pinkfresh Studio.
