Wow...it has been awhile! Sorry for my absence...I have just been busy with the holidays and such! I had a fun date night with J last night, which was nice after such a horrific day of watching the news. We had a light dinner & drinks at Finn & Porter, then went to The Nutcracker. The ballet was so sweet, and all the little ones in it were fantastic....and while I had fun, it also made me think of the innocent 20 children who will no longer be able to be in a ballet or little league, and it makes me think of the hundreds of others who have lost their innocence, their feeling of safety. This whole situation just makes my heart ache....this is happening all too often in our country.
I have a set of Prima Christmas Tags to share with you today, which were posted on the Prima Tag Blog Post earlier this month. There were lots of inspiring tags in that post, so make sure you check them all out. Prima makes it really easy to decorate tags & gift wrapping with all their fun flowers, trinkets & buttons. Here is what I created!
Challenges:
-The Deconstructed Sketch #81 - Tag Sketch
-Simon Says Stamp - Favorite Things
-Cupcake Craft #222 - Merry Christmas
-Fussy & Fancy #78 - Tags & Banners
-Stamptacular Sunday #193 - Anything but a Card
I hope that you have enjoyed my fun little Christmas tags today! These are easy to recreate, and can decorate a package or gift basket with ease. If you enjoyed my Bible study notes that I had been sharing before, never fear. They will return....just not until the new year, when I have more time to get the graphics ready, etc.
I hope you have a wonderful rest of your Saturday!
Until later,

Hey there, everyone! Please pardon the tardiness of this post. I was down for the count yesterday...I haven't felt that sick in a really LONG time. I was nauseated, felt sick to my stomach all day...but probably the worst part was the never ending headache. No amount of Advil would get rid of it, and my head just hurt all day long. So- I slept most of the day, because I couldn't even imagine looking at a computer screen...let alone typing. So- I am a day late with my group post, but hopefully you will still enjoy seeing it!
So, what did you think of this month's release from WPlus9? Hey there, everyone!! Well, tonight is the night when Dawn reveals all the new stamp sets and dies in their entirety...and you can start planning your shopping list!! There are SO many great new items this month, and I just know you are going to want it all!
Before I share with you all of the new items, I have a clean & elegant holiday card to share with you! Instructions:
1. Make A2 card from oatmeal cardstock, round the upper right corner & distress ink the edges.
2. Stamp the damask image in grey three times to the right side of the card.
3. Stamp the sentiment overlapping the stamped damask at the bottom.
4. Accent the sentiment with pearls.
5. Add a strip of striped washi tape to the left side of the card.
6. Add lace trim right next to the washi tape, then top with a pearl strip.
7. Diecut two snowflakes from maroon cardstock, then adhere with a pearl to the remaining damask images.
Challenges:
-CR84FN #68 - Color Inspiration

-Cute Card Thursday #245 - Snowflakes
And now on to the full reveal of all the new WPlus9 items! Without further ado....

Happy Saturday, everyone!! I hope the start of your weekend has been a great one! Today marks the start of the December/January release week for WPlus9, and we have a lot of great things in store for you! We have a new DT member (you will see her name on my link list below), and some fabulous new stamp sets & dies for you. Here is a look at what we are sharing with you today!
Bitty Buddy Valentines
I didn't use the XOXO border today, but will before this week ends!! I chose to use the Bitty Buddy Valentine's set with a few other WPlus9 previously released stamp sets to create this cute and fun Christmas card! I thought that the striped frame was perfect in red, and it reminded me of peppermint stripes & mailing sweet Christmas packages! Here is what I created!
Instructions:
1. Make A2 card from lake house cardstock.
2. Cut hexagon paper slightly smaller, wrap ribbon around the bottom and adhere.
3. Stamp the striped frame to white cardstock, then diecut.
4. Stamp the wish list image to the top of the frame.
5. Diecut the penguin & pocket from white cardstock, then stamp the corresponding images.
6. Add the sentiment & ornament to the pocket, then layer both front of the frame.
7. Accent with jewels, then adhere to the card front with foam adhesive.
8. Tie a bow from matching ribbon, stitch a button around it with twine & adhere to the left side to finish.
Challenges:
-Young Crafters Unite #16 - Happy Holidays
-Our Daily Bread #132 - Ornament
-Top Tip Tuesday #90 - Kids & Teens
The cute little penguin was just perfect to create this sweet little Christmas card!! Don't forget that new WPlus9 stamps combine perfectly with past releases...and it is a great way to freshen up your older stamp sets!
Be sure to check out what the rest of the design team has created for this cute stamp set & dies!
