A New Year Giveaway!!

January 4, 2009

Wow!! Long time no blog! I probably should have posted a little note that I wouldn't be updating my blog until after the new year, but being so busy...it kept slipping my mind. Work was busy, getting ready for the holidays was busy, and celebrating them was busy as well! So busy that my poor immune system took a shot, and now I have had the most horrendous cold for almost a week now! Yuck! It knocked me on my rear for about three days. I have a bit more energy now, but feel like I have broken ribs from coughing so much! Anways...I will stop having a pity party, and get on to the fun stuff!

While I was away, I got my copies of an idea book that I was part of in the mail! It is CardMaker's Sketchbook: Birthday Celebrations...and it is fabulous! Lots of new sketches by the creator of the CPS blog, Tami Mayberry. And LOTS of great examples by some amazing card makers!! You can get the book at Annie's Attic, or Amazon...to name a couple.
Here is one of my cards that is featured in the book. I have a few more in there, but can't give it all away!! :)
BUT...I can giveaway three copies of the book to three lucky people who leave comments!! All I want to know is....what do you hope holds in store for you in 2009? Lots of good stuff, I hope? I know that I am hoping that Josh's dream job comes through, and I have a dream up my sleeve as well! We we'll see what unfolds this year!!

Well, you should see me blogging more regularly again! The holidays were just a little crazy for me...so the blog and crafting had to be put on the back burner! And once I am rid of this pesky cold...I should be 100% raring to go! Happy New Year to each and every one of you! I hope 2009 is the best yet!

Until later,
~Lea

PS- I will give you until this FRIDAY to leave a comment. Look for a post at some point on Friday to reveal the winners!

  25. My wish for 2009 is that my husband will be able to resume his normal activities. He had an ankle fusion surgery in July and was on crutches for 6 weeks and then in a walking cast for 3 months. His ankle still gets swollen but not nearly as much as it used to. The company he was working for is moving back to the States and he was let go in November so I am also wishing he will be able to find a permanent full time position soon.

  49. My hopes and dreams are straightforward but HUGE

I want to find my next path

That may sound weird coming from a:

happily married wife of 21 years/ mom with two boys in grade and middle school/gratefully employed in my chosen profession... woman.

But I feel the push to start thinking, preparing, planning, seeking, asking, searching.....now.

    Wish me luck and blessings!
