Prima Flowers.....mmmmm!

May 8, 2010

Both of my cards feature some new Prima flowers on them today.  Every time I look at them or use some of them...I honestly think, "mmmmm....love these."  I ♥ them!

First up is my card for CPS Sketch 165 this past week.  We were sponsored by Taylored Expressions this week, and I chose the CreativiTEA set to use.  Here is my card!
"Thank You" supplies:
Stamps: Taylored Expressions (CreativiTEA set)
Cardstock: Bazzill Basics
Paper: Webster's Pages
Ink: Clearsnap (Pigment: turquoise, black and Chalk: rose coral)
Ribbon: Renaissance By Design
Flower: Prima
Pearls: Prima & Kaiser Craft
Corner Rounder: EK Success

Instructions:  will be added later....

And I made this next card for my mom.  Her birthday was on the 6th, and Mother's Day is Sunday.  Her favorite color is purple...so I figured this was fitting. :)  And I totally lifted myself on this card.  Awhile back I posted a pink & aqua card that is very similar...I liked it so much I decided to make the same card, just with different colors, papers and embellishments!  (And sentiment....)
"A Mother..." supplies:

Stamps/Ribbon: Renaissance by Design (Darling Damask & Strictly Sentiments sets)

Flowers: Prima

Jewels: Westrim Crafts
Corner Rounder: EK Success

Instructions: will be added later....

I got my mom a 1 hour therapeutic massage as a gift, but I also wanted to give her an actual item as well.  (I am weird about that.  I love getting and giving gift certificates...but I always have to give them with a little something actual that they can open or at least see!)  My mom owns and runs a flower/gift shop...so bringing her fresh flowers seemed like a silly idea.  But, I saw these at Target, and thought they were awesome:

So, my florist mom got wood shaving roses from me too!  Tee hee!  They look really pretty sitting on an end table!

Well, I am in Sheridan hanging out with my mom for the weekend. So, I am going to get going for now.  Have a wonderful Saturday! ♥♥♥

Until later,
~Lea
