And I made this next card for my mom. Her birthday was on the 6th, and Mother's Day is Sunday. Her favorite color is purple...so I figured this was fitting. :) And I totally lifted myself on this card. Awhile back I posted a pink & aqua card that is very similar...I liked it so much I decided to make the same card, just with different colors, papers and embellishments! (And sentiment....)

I got my mom a 1 hour therapeutic massage as a gift, but I also wanted to give her an actual item as well. (I am weird about that. I love getting and giving gift certificates...but I always have to give them with a little something actual that they can open or at least see!) My mom owns and runs a flower/gift shop...so bringing her fresh flowers seemed like a silly idea. But, I saw these at Target, and thought they were awesome:
So, my florist mom got wood shaving roses from me too! Tee hee! They look really pretty sitting on an end table!
Well, I am in Sheridan hanging out with my mom for the weekend. So, I am going to get going for now. Have a wonderful Saturday! ♥♥♥
Until later,
~Lea
