WPlus9 February 2012 - Full Reveal

February 3, 2012

Hey there, everyone!!  Tonight is the night that Dawn shares the full reveal of this month's stamp set and die release!  You will be able to see each stamp set & die in its entirety, and chose which ones you want most...I am thinking you will just want all of them.  Tee hee!  This has been a really great release!

Before you head on over to Dawn's blog to check out the full reveal at midnight EST, I have another card to share with you.  I mixed one of the new stamp sets with an older set and it worked perfectly for my vintage looking card.  Here is what I created!
"Celebrate Today" supplies:
Cardstock: Papertrey Ink (vintage cream)
Paper: My Mind's Eye (Lost & Found 2 "Rosy" 6x6 pad)
Stamps: WPlus9 (Folk Art Florals & Very Vintage Greetings sets)
Dies: WPlus9 (Circle Stackers 1)
Ink: Clearsnap (Pigment: cranberry) & Tsukineko (Versafine: onyx black)
Distress Ink/Blending Tool: Tim Holtz (antique linen)
Ribbon: May Arts
Flower: Prima Marketing
Lace: craft supply
Border Punch: Fiskars (apron lace)
Circle Punch: Marvy Uchida
Diecut Machine: Cuttlebug by Provo Craft
Sewing Machine: Brother

Instructions:  Make card from vintage cream cardstock.  Cut a block of vintage collage paper, and distress ink the edges.  Punch an apron lace border to striped paper, adhere to the bottom of the collage paper and zig-zag stitch along the edges.  Adhere a piece of lace to the top of the paper block, then adhere the entire block to the card front.  Cut a banner edge to three strips of patterned paper, then distress ink the edges.  Adhere to the upper left corner of the card, then zig-zag stitch along the top of them.  Diecut the two circle layers from patterned paper, distress ink the edges, and layer together with foam adhesive.  Punch a circle from vintage cream cardstock, and distress ink the edges.  Stamp the floral accent and sentiment to it, adhere to the circle stack, then accent it with a pearl.  Adhere to the entire circle stack to the card front using foam adhesive.  Tie a bow from black gingham ribbon, then layer to the card front with a flower to finish.

Card Challenges Used:
-Our Craft Lounge #103- up in the air (trapeze graphic on paper)
-Inky Impressions #44- pearls & /or bling
-Stamptacular Sunday #149- diamonds or pearls
