Nina B Designs Dream Team Blog Hop #1

Welcome to the first ever Nina B Designs Dream Team Blog Hop! We are so thrilled to have you join us on this very special day. My friends and I have some projects to show you that feature the Nina B Designs' Spellbinders™ Paper Arts (Home Sweet Home and Sewing Elements), The Craft's Meow Stamps, and Want2Scrap bling.

I decided to go a little shabby chic, and paired Nina's dies & stamps with a beautiful vintage image and soft, mostly neutral papers.  Here is my project:

"Hello, Friend" supplies:
Cardstock: Papertrey Ink (vintage cream) 

Paper/Brad: My Mind's Eye (Lost & Found 2 "Blush" & "Rosy" 6x6 pads)

Stamps: The Cat's Meow "Sew Lovely" set

Ink: Clearsnap (Stephanie Bernard dye: chocolate)

Distress Ink/Blending Tool: Tim Holtz (antique linen)
Ribbon: The Cat's Pajamas

Jewels: Glitz Design

Chipboard: Tattered Angels

Flowers: Michael's brand

Glitter: DecoArt

Doily Die: My Favorite Things

Wings/Tag Dies: Spellbinders "Home Sweet Home" Set

Instructions: Make card from vintage cream cardstock.  Cut three blocks of patterned paper, distress the edges, and layer together to the card front.  Diecut a doily from vintage cream cardstock, distress the edges and adhere to the middle of the top paper layer.  Diecut the wings from book paper, then adhere with a vintage image to the top of the doily.  Cover a chipboard frame in glitter, and adhere over top of the vintage image & wings.  Tie a double bow from pink seam binding, and adhere to the corner of the frame.  Diecut the tag from striped paper, distress ink the edges and stamp the sentiment to it.  Accent the sentiment tag with a brad, then adhere to the top of the bow.  Add three flowers to the opposite corner, then accent the card with three jewels to finish.
