Well, today I am back with some very exciting news! While I was at Big Sky, I got an email invitation to be on the StopAndScrap.com design team! I have been shopping with StopAndScrap.com for sometime now, and so I was very excited to be asked!! They have a tremendous and loyal scrapbooking clientele, and now want to make sure that they are carrying and marketing to all paper crafters...especially cardmakers & stampers! We'd love to have you join in on the excitement and new direction that the store is taking while still providing you with the best product and prices of your favorite manufacturers. We're going to be making some tremendous and positive changes for our valued customer, so that StopAndScrap will be the only store you shop at and have a lot of fun while you're doing it!
For the announcement, we are doing a customer blog hop so you can check out all the new designers! I have created a sweet little wedding card using gorgeous Webster's Pages papers and Prima Marketing flowers. I adore how this turned out!
"Congratulations to the Happy Couple" supplies:
Cardstock: Papertrey Ink (vintage cream)
Paper/Accents: Webster's Pages (In Love & Western Romance 6x6 papers)
Stamps: WPlus9 (Damask Doilies set) & Glitz Design (Distressing Set 1)
Ink: Clearsnap (Pigment: raw amber) & Tsukineko (Versafine: onyx black)
Distress Ink/Blending Tool: Tim Holtz (antique linen)
Flowers: Prima Marketing
Tulle: Glitz Design
Lace: May Arts
Pearls: Kaiser Craft
Sandpaper
Instructions: make card from vintage cream cardstock. Cut background paper slightly smaller and distress the edges. Stamp the texted background stamp to the top and bottom of it, then adhere to the card front. Cut a block of dress paper and distress the edges. Add crochet trim to the top of it, then adhere to the card front. Tie a bow from cream tulle, then accent the upper right corner with the bow, flowers & clear button. Cut two thin strips of patterned paper, add a banner edge to them and distress ink the edges. Stamp the sentiments to them, then adhere layered over top of the dress. Accent the left side of the sentiment tags with a grey floral accent and pearls. Add pearls underneath the flowers to finish.
Card Challenges Used:
-Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger- vintage vogue
-City Crafter challenge #107- text & tulle
-Inky Impressions #57- 2+ ribbons
-Little Darlings challenge- flowers
-Stampin' for the Weekend challenge- 4+ layers
-One Stop Craft challenge #181- celebrations
