Hey there, blog friends! I hope this Sunday finds you having had an AMAZING weekend! We got what feels like a foot of snow yesterday & overnight, so we have had a quiet weekend indoors. We knew it was coming, so I did all the necessary grocery shopping on Friday afternoon so we wouldn't have to venture out unless it was an absolute emergency.
Before I get to my card, I wanted to invite you to follow me on social media. This is a great way to keep up with me, my latest creations & new product that I work with!
When I recieved the Papertrey Ink email this morning with their February Blog Hop info posted...I decided I REALLY wanted to break out some of my PTI stuff. I haven't used any of it since before losing Ellie & Layton, so it was time to put it to good use.
The Papertrey Ink February Blog Hop inspiration image is all about Easter & Spring!
We may have just gotten a foot of snow, but I'm not going to let that dampen my spring spirit! :) I decided to use a PTI blast from the past....Friendship Jar Spring Fillers! When I purchased this stamp set, I was not comfortable with flowers or coloring in any fashion - so I never used the gorgeous tulip image that is included. I decided that today was the perfect day to finally ink it up!

Happy Friday, blog friends! And welcome to my second post of the day! Today is the Winnie & Walter 4th Birthday Bash Blog hop!
Today we are hopping along, celebrating love & friendship while using amazing products from Winnie & Walter! I've been part of the Winnie & Walter family for the majority of the 4 years they've been around. Even when I stepped away for the better part of 2 years - Shay kept me in the family, sent me the latest Winnie & Walter, and welcomed me with open arms when I said I was ready to return. I finally got the chance to meet Shay & some of the other W&W girls at Creativation a few weeks ago - and it was such an amazing treat. I don't remember the last time I laughed & cried & smiled so much that it hurt - these are the kind of women that you want to surround yourself with. Here we are in the Pinkfresh booth!
So, how about I get to my card? I've been itching to create a rainbow themed card, and today just seemed like the perfect time. I simply adore how this card turned out! After spending those 4 days in Pheonix, I just realized how much LOVE I have for all of these amazing women & men that I consider friends & colleagues in this industry.
Hey there, blog friends! Welcome to day 5 of the SugarPea Designs
winter product release week! Today is the day! All new products will be available at 6pm
EST, and all of the links I've used this week go live. Each day has a blog hop of sorts, where you can hop along
and check out
what each SPD designer & guest has created with the day's featured
product! I will have that link list for you at the end of my post. {**Please note that none of my links will work until 6pm EST on FRIDAY.**}
Today I am featuring the Diagonal Striped CoverPlate, along with the Better Together stamp set. There are also coordinating Better Together SugarCuts, but I didn't not use them for my card today. I also used the Sweet Incentive Program product {which is the Hello SugarCut).
Before I get to my card, I wanted to invite you to follow me on social media. This is a great way to keep up with me, my latest creations & new product that I work with!
Now on to my card! This card includes one of my VERY favorite color palettes. Minus the black, it is what Ellie's nursery was going to be decorated in. So, I keep it very close to my heart, and use it often.

Today I am featuring the Garden Topiary stamp set and coordinating Garden Topiary SugarCuts. As I alluded at the end of my post yesterday, I used this stamp set in a bit of a unique fashion, and am kind-of thrilled with out it turned out!

Now on to my card! So, a trend in the wedding industry has been to decorate thin wooden hoops with real flowers & accents in their wedding color palette. When I saw this set, I thought it would be interesting to stamp one of those hoops instead of as topiaries. Check it out!

Now on to my card, which is super adorable & full of vivid colors! This is a bit different for me and the card turned out a little differently than originally planned...but I think it is really cute! And isn't the fun part of being creative? Not to mention...this sentiment makes me sing the Adele song. Lol!

Today we are featuring the Heartfelt Sympathy stamp set and the coordinating Sympathy SugarCut. I've paired them with two of the items we featured yesterday, the Pretty Peonies stamp set, the Card Front Element Builder SugarCuts.

Now on to my card, and first I want to say something about this amazing stamp set. If you've been a follower of me at all, you are aware of the tragedy that has surrounded me in the past few years. I've received a lot of sympathy cards, and sometimes, they really didn't bring me any comfort. Wendy did such an amazing job making sure that the sentiments in this stamp set are heartfelt & comforting, and I can absolutely stand behind using it for such a sensitive time. With all that being said, I loved the color palette that I used on my card from Release Day 1 so much that I used it again today!

Today Shay is introducing two new critter sets illustrated by the amazing Evelin T Designs. There is a kitty themed set & a doggy themed one...so something for everyone!
It's no secret that I'm not much of a critter coloring stamper, but these images were just begging to be colored a bit. So, I paired the new Dog-Gone Cute stamp & die set with my Zig Clean Color Real Brushes - and I think it worked out. It's simple, but I kind-of love how it looks like a children's book illustration. Here is my card!
