Happy Thursday, blog friends! I hope that you have had an amazing week so far! Have you had a chance to check out Rubeena's 2 Day blog hop yet? It is chalk full of inspiration and prizes - including my blog hop post + giveaway (you can get all the details you need in that link).
Today we are celebrating Lil' Inker Designs 8th birthday, and there is a fantastic sale going on! Everything with the exception of the new release products are 25% off! There is no code necessary and the savings will be reflected in your cart!
Plus there's more! Starting at a $50 purchase, you will get free items! You do need to use codes for these items, so be sure to reference the graphic.
So, I think it's never too early to start creating for Christmas...and today I've created a card with the recently re-stocked Vintage Christmas Wreath stamp set and coordinating die! This stamp set was a huge hit last season, and it typically flies off the shelves...so be sure to grab it at 25% off during the sale!
I started my card by diecutting the Geometric Snow cover up die from heavyweight white cardstock. Then I layered it along with a block of gold glitter paper to the front of a top folding A2 card base.
Then I stamped the Vintage Christmas Wreath main image to heavyweight cardstock, and colored it in with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens. Once it was dry, I cut it out with the Vintage Christmas Wreath coordinating diecuts. Then I mounted it to the card front with foam adhesive, and added a bunch of shimmer to it with my Tonic Aqua Shimmer pen.
I heat embossed the sentiment to a block of vellum, then just cut it out with a circle punch that matched the size of the wreath middle. To finish the card I adhered the vellum sentiment circle to the middle of the wreath, then accented the card with my signature jewels tucked here & there!
That's what I have for you today - I hope that you like my traditionally colored Christmas card today! Fun fact - this week I was given the opportunity to sell my cards at the Best Buy corporate campus where my husband works. I was there for two days, and I'm happy to say it was quite successful! This card was actually purchased fairly quickly after I set up...and I was a little hesitant. When the purchaser picked it up and didn't put it back down, I was almost bummed that I didn't leave it at home. Lol! So, I guess I will have to make another one! :)
Before you move along with your day, I wanted to invite you to follow
me on social media. I hang out on Instagram a lot, and share my work in
progress in my stories...along with REALLY cute photos of my dogs! :)
Plus, I just started my YouTube channel, and while there are only a handful of
videos right now...I will be adding new content consistently now that I've gotten the video process all set up on my new laptop!
Have a wonderful rest of your Thursday!
