Welcome to the monthly NinaB Designs team blog hop. NinaB Designs is a product designer for a few paper crafting companies including Spellbinders, Want2Scrap, Penny Black, and The Craft's Meow. For this month's hop, Nina challenged us to create something with Winter and Holidays in mind.
The holidays provide many opportunities for paper crafters to give an extra personal touch to every occasion. Whether you are doing place cards for a dinner, tags for gift giving or even just hand made projects using your supplies on hand, it is a blessed season indeed! I call my Christmas home decor a Candy Wonderland...it is full of pink, aqua, red, lime green....and lots of fun candy themed items everywhere! I created a card that gives a small peek into what you would see when you walk in the door at Christmas time!!
Instructions:
1. Make A2 card from white cardstock.
2. Cut peppermint paper slightly smaller, then adhere.
3. Round the upper left corner of a peppermint card, then adhere to the front.
4. Wrap red rosette trim around the right side of the card.
5. Thread striped ribbon through white lace, bunch up and adhere to the right side.
6. Tie a bow from matching striped ribbon, stitch a pink button around it with twine, then adhere.
7. Cut a banner edge to white cardstock, stamp the sentiment to it and adhere to the bottom.
8. Accent the card with a peppermint sticker, then top with a diecut heart button threaded with twine.
9. Add three jewels to the left side to finish.
