To create the background, I first use the Screening & red distress oxide ink to make the stripes on a white cardstock block. Leaving the screening taped to the cardstock, I then rubbed a glue pad over top of it. Just be sure to be gentle as you don't want to move the thin striped lines of the screening. Once the glue was evenly distributed, I peeled off the screening & then covered the front in prisma glitter. It worked perfectly!
I then created the tag with a combo of black dye ink & red glitter embossing powder. I used my MISTI to stamp the tag background because I never feel like I get a good crisp impression the first time with dye ink. The second time inking up was the charm for me! Dye ink was a must for the background because I wanted to heat emboss on top of it, and I didn't want to wait forever for ink to dry!
Once the tag was complete I just adhered everything with foam tape to the front of my white card base, and then accented with my signature jewels tucked here & there.
My next card is super clean & simple, and I love it! Check it out!
I diecut the wreath parts from vellum & gold glitter paper, then layered together off center to the card front. I then stamped & diecut the banner to white cardstock, and then stamped the sentiment directly to it. I adhered the sentiment banner over top of a knot of gold thread to the lower right side of the wreath.
To finish I accented around the sentiment and the upper left side of the wreath with glitter dots.
