Crafty Comeback Party - Day 18 - Reverse Confetti + Giveaway

November 1, 2017

Happy Wednesday!  It's the middle of the week, and my crafty comeback party has just a few days left in it!  The snow is lightly falling outside my window right now, and it is just beautiful.  I always love the first snowfall of the season.  The next couple of posts will likely be in the afternoons due to my schedule right now - but no worries, because the giveaways are open all the way through Friday, November 10th.  So, there is plenty of time!

Today my post is all about Reverse Confetti!  I am feeling pretty special, because I used products that aren't available yet!!  So, you are getting a sneak peek at a few items that will be releasing very soon!!  So exciting!!  These products are set to release on November 8th, so be sure to keep checking the Reverse Confetti blog for more information!!

I created two shaker cards for today's post, but I didn't photograph them together because the colors don't match at all.  So, we are going to start with the festive, traditional Christmas color shaker with some adorable little elves on it!

Like I said earlier in the week, I need to take some classes in coloring, but these little elves were too cute not to color!  So, I did my very best!  The sweet scripted font that Jen chose for these stamp sets are just perfect...and they heat emboss beautifully!

Of course, I accented with some Prima jewels that I've had in my stash for awhile....a card wouldn't be complete without them!

Using the same design, I also created another shaker card with this adorable gingerbread house stamp set!  I think this image needs copic markers to color (which are on my Christmas list!). so instead I chose to add color via the sequins in the shaker, and stamp the images in white directly to the transparency.  I can't wait to learn more about coloring and then try my hat at coloring in this image!  It is SO cute!

I had initially had the shaker over top of a silver glitter paper, but the stamping didn't pop as well.  Once I changed it to the turquoise color...it look much better!

Same as for the first card, I finished by accenting with some beautiful Prima crystals in my stash.  These are some of my favorites!!

I hope you liked my cute little shaker cards today!  I am loving how bold & bright the colors are!  And kind-of can't believe that there really isn't a stitch of white cardstock on them anywhere.  Lol!

Many thanks to Jen from Reverse Confetti for being part of my crafty comeback party!  I know that I will be using all of these goodies again in the very near future!

  5. Another duo of delightful shakers! The little elves, in particular, have caught my eye (HUGS - we know who inspired you); they're adorable and remind me of my niece and nephew, right down to their hair colour. Thank you for the smiles today and for sharing your creativity so generously! A bit thank you to Jen for offering today's gift!

  10. Cuteness abounds in this post. These images are delightful. That deep rich purple is my favourite colour, so I'm biased towards the second card. The gems are luscious.

  14. Both cards are absolutely darling!! I love the color choices you made, and even though the pink & purple aren't "holiday colors," they are perfect for the card with the gingerbread house! Lea, I agree with you. The font on these RC sentiments is fantastic!! I really like it, too.

  27. SUPER CUTE cards!
Shakers are always FUN, fun to make, fun to give and hopefully fun for the recipients too :)
... I always find photographing them a challenge, with reflections and the contents falling down to the bottom but love them so much I keep on making them and working on ways around these two challenges.
