Winnie & Walter November Release - Day 3

Good morning & happy Thursday!  Welcome to day 3 of the November Winnie & Walter release!

Before I get to my card, I want to let you know that Winnie & Walter always has a big giveaway each release where 1 lucky winner gets the entire set of stamps released!  (BTW - there are 8 stamp sets this month!!)  Follow the giveaways instructions on Winnie & Walter's Big Giveaway post in order to try for your chance to win!

I have created 2 cards for you today!

Here is my first card.  Check it out!

To create this background, I stamped the poinsettia layers in white & golden glitz pigment inks to kraft cardstock.  I stamped a couple extra flowers & some leaves to a scrap of kraft cardstock, and diecut them to use as accents.

I added my sentiment to a diecut tag from a past Winnie & Walter Essentials die set, then layered everything together to a white card front using foam tape to give it dimension!  To finish, I accented with my signature jewels!

I've been using this kraft, white & gold color combo a lot lately, and I really love it!!

My second card features the new cover plate, and a sentiment from the other In Bloom stamp set!  Here is more info on those items:

Cover Model: Do You See What I See? Cutaway
Wafer Thin Steel Die

In Bloom: Victoria's Very Merry Flowers with Lydia Evans

In Bloom: Victoria's Very Merry Flowers with Lydia Evans Cutaways
Wafer Thin Steel Dies

Retails for $40.00
Includes fifty-two (52) dies

I didn't use the flowers this time around, but the versatile & beautiful sentiment options were a perfect fit!

To create the design, I first blended a rainbow background with distress oxide inks to a block of white cardstock.  I dropped water droplets to the front, then soaked them back up with a paper towel.  After that I spritzed it down with white color shine & let dry.

Once dry, I diecut the cover plate from the background, and popped out the pieces - making sure to group the ones together that I wanted to use for my card front.  I then layered the diecut piece to the card front and started applying the pieces to the card front with foam tape.  If I wanted to change the flower placement, I would just move the cover plate diecut where I wanted it & proceed adding in the pieces.

Once it looked how I wanted, I stamped the sentiment to the lower left corner and accented with jewels.
