Pinkfresh Studio October Release Blog Hop

Happy Monday, friends! I'm super excited because today is the Pinkfresh Studio October Release blog hop! We've been hard at work behind the scenes, and are over the moon for this release! It is one of our best yet!

I will get to all the amazing things I mentioned at the end of my post, but how about we get to my cards first? I am sharing cards using the new Geo Star 1 and Geo Star 2 background dies, and all the new word dies as well! I've painted rainbow gradients using Pinkfresh Studio Liquid Watercolor, which makes it SO easy!

To start, I painted the rainbow gradients to (3) Arches A2 sized watercolor panels. While they were drying, I diecut the Geo Star 2 die twice from white cardstock. Then I proceeded to cut out all the word dies & their layers. I typically add 2-3 layers of white cardstock under words, which I did do here.

I adhered all the word layers together with a Zig glue pen, then set them all aside. By this time the watercolor panels were dry, and I cut the Geo Star 1 diecut from two of them. I layered each watercolor panel to the front of an A2 cardbase, then mounted the Geo Star 2 diecut to two of them. I stamped a couple additional sentiments from My Favorite Things To Say stamp set, and trimmed them down...adding banner edges to them. Then I attached the sentiments to the front of each card and finished by accenting here & there with my signature jewels.

Here is a look at each of the cards by themselves. This card uses Geo Star 1 alone, along with the Do All Things With Love word die.

This card uses Geo Star 2 alone, and features the Hey Gorgeous word die and a sentiment from My Favorite Things To Say stamp set.

And finally, this card uses Geo Star 1 and Geo Star 2 together, the Smile word die and another sentiment from My Favorite Things To Say stamp set.
