The stamp set we are previewing today is called "Plus One", and it is just the sweetest and cutest little baby stamp set you have ever seen!! You are going to just love this adorable little stamp set! So, without further ado...here is card #1. It's mini sized at 4x4, and would be perfect to dress up a package or gift bag!
"Bundle of Joy" supplies:
Cardstock/Scalloped Die: Papertrey Ink (vintage cream)
Paper: Glitz Design (Pipework, frames, polka)
Stamps: Lawn Fawn (Plus One set)
Ink: Tsukineko (Versafine: onyx black)
Ribbon: SEI
Twine: Darice Inc.
Twine: Darice Inc.
Pearls: Darice Inc. (large off-white) & Kaiser Craft (light yellow, light blue)
Glitter: DecoArt
Corner Rounder: EK Success
Diecut Machine: Cricut Expression by Provo Craft
Instructions: Fold patterned paper in half to make card base, and round the bottom corners. Diecut a scalloped edge to a cream cardstock block, scor two lines above it, and adhere to the front. Stamp the sentiment to the lower right corner, and the baby mobile to the upper left. Wrap ribbon around the top of the cardstock block, and tie a twine bow where the mobile intersects the ribbon. Top the twine bow with a large, off-white pearl. Stamp the mobile pieces to patterned paper, cut out, glitter, and adhere. Accent the mobile and above the sentiment with three pearls each to finish.
I also used this cute stamp set for CPS Sketch 209 this week. Since the first card is for a baby boy, I decided to go with a baby girl themed card for this one. And this card is a reminder that you don't always have to use the images in your stamp sets! I only used a sentiment from the set, and it went perfectly with the Cricut cuts that I wanted to use on my card!
"Baby Girl on the Way!" supplies:
Cardstock: The Paper Company (cream)
Paper: My Mind's Eye (Quite Contrary: colorful umbrellas, Be Loved: dearest dots)
Stamps: Lawn Fawn (Plus One set)
Ink: Clearsnap (Pigment: old rose)
Ribbon: Renaissance by Design
Flowers: Prima
Pearls: Kaiser Craft
Border Punch: Fiskars (upper crest)
Diecut Machines: Cricut Expression & Cuttlebug by Provo Craft
Diecut Cartridge: Straight from the Nest & Give A Hoot by Provo Craft
Label Die: Spellbinders (Labels Twenty)
Instructions: Fold cream cardstock in half to make card base. Cut a yellow dotted paper block slightly smaller than the card, and adhere to the front. Punch upper crest borders to cream cardstock strips, and adhere to the top and bottom of a pink heart paper strip. Adhere the entire piece to the middle of the card. Cut and emboss the label from cream cardstock, and adhere to the front. Cut the branch and its layers at 1.5" using the Cricut Expression & Straight from the Nest cartridge. Layer together, adhere to the label and accent with yellow pearls. Cut the nest and its layers at 1" using the Give A Hoot cartridge. Layer together, adhere to the branch and accent with three pink pearls. Stamp the sentiment directly above the nest accent. Adhere a cream colored bow to the lower left corner, and accent the middle with yellow paper flowers to finish.
I know that I can't wait to see what the other Lawn Fawn girls came up with...and here is a list so you can check them out too!
