{Lawn Fawn Presents} Lunar Lights Sneak Peek, pt. 1

Why, hello my crafty friends!  I hope this post finds you having had a wonderful weekend and start of the new week!  Labeled as "Moxie Fab" by Cath Edvalson from Paper Crafts Magazine, today I have a card to share with you using one of the latest new releases from Lawn Fawn called "Lunar Lights".  You are going to LOVE this fabulous 4x6 clear stamp set, and all of its possibilities.

Without further ado, here is the card that I created for today's sneak peek.  I also used one of the new Glitz Design collections, "Afternoon Muse", and I have to say....the two items go together perfectly!!  It's what I consider garden party fabulous....tee hee!

"Happy Wishes" supplies: 

Cardstock: Bazzill Basics (kraft)

Paper/Jewels: Glitz Design (Afternoon Muse: Banner, Stripe, Polka)

Stamps: Lawn Fawn (Lunar Lights set) 

Ink: Tsukineko (Versafine: onyx black) 

Twine: Darice Inc. 

Flowers: Prima

Corner Rounder: EK Success

Border Punch: Fiskars (Apron Lace)

Instructions:  Fold kraft cardstock in half to make card base, and round the bottom corners.  Stamp the lanterns to patterned paper, cut out, and adhere to the front.  Stamp the lantern strings directly to the card front, slightly overlapping the tops of the lanterns.  Punch an apron lace border to a striped paper strip, and adhere to the bottom of a pink paper strip. Adhere this entire block to the top of the card.  Cut out the banners from patterned paper, and punch holes in each side of them.  String together with twine, and adhere to the top of the card.  Accent each side with a twine bow and an aqua paper flower.  Stamp the sentiment below the pink lantern, and accent the left side with three clear jewels.  Add a pink jewel to each stamped lantern to finish the card off.
