Happy Thursday!!  Welcome to day 4 of the WPlus9 April release!  I have another card to share with you using "Filigreed Frames" set.  I shared a little bit of info on the set yesterday, and today I wanted to let you know that Dawn actually has the full reveal up on the WPlus9 Design Blog!  So, you can see the whole release for yourself...and get a chance to win it!  Just be sure to answer Dawn's question that she posed in the post.

WPlus9 has also partnered with The Play Date Cafe, where Dawn is the guest designer, and also offering up a prize to one lucky participant!!  So, be sure to head on over and participate in Challenge #75 at PDCC by April 5th at 11:59pm for a chance to win.  Here is my disclaimer though...make sure you use all the correct colors.  Tee hee!  You see- we were given the colors beforehand, so we could all participate as well.  And I promise I looked at the colors, but obviously not well enough.  And then I did remember the Monopoly game in the background, and Monopoly is red.  So- I used all the correct colors...except the red, which should have been pink.  But, what can you do...I am owning up to my whoops, and am still going to share my card with you...one wrong color and all. :)   I also used the Viva la Verve! Another thing I have been looking forward to is sharing this card with another new WPlus9 stamp set.  This set is called "Filigreed Frames", and it is amazing!!  I LOVE it, and know I will be using it frequently!  Here is a little bit of info on the set:

 For my card, I played with the current ColorQ Challenge #78 (pink pirouette, certainly celery, kraft, espresso & white) and I also used a special sketch from my card friend, Chupa.  She started offering a weekly sketch on her blog this month, and I have been hoarding waiting to use Sketch #1 for something very special.  And this card and stamp set were definitely special enough to use it.  Here is what I came up with:

I used the Viva la Verve! March 2011 Sketch #3 for this card, which worked perfectly for this gorgeous fabric image.  Sigh- I can't wait for the pink trees to bloom in Missoula...they are utterly gorgeous.  Here is my card:

Happy Tuesday, my friends!!  Welcome to day 2 of the WPlus9 April release, and today we are showing off "A Special Lady" again.  Yesterday I gave you some details of the stamp set, and today I want to let you in on how you could possibly win this set!!  All you have to do is go to the WPlus9 Design Blog, and check out the posts from today and yesterday.  Check out Dawn's fabulous samples, follow the comment instructions, and you give yourself two chances to win (as long as you comment on both posts.)  This stamp set is a must have, so any chance to win it is awesome!!

Yesterday I showcased the tulip in its simplest form by just stamping it in white to vellum.  Today I still stamped my image and sentiment to vellum, but I also did a very small amount of coloring (with a colored pencil...pretty much the only way I ever color anything that is stamped) and then paper pieced the flowers.  The WPlus9 blog also offers a fun color challenge every month, and I wasn't an active member of the design team yet when this month's challenge came about.  So, I thought it would be fun to participate in Color Cue #13 (light green, yellow, gray, white) for my card today!!  I also doubled up my WPlus9 post today with my card for CPS Sketch #211, hoping that this new fabulous stamp set would get some more exposure!! Check it out!

Happy Monday, everyone!!  Well, as I said in my post yesterday...today is my first day "on the job" with WPlus9!!  This week we are showcasing projects using the new stamp releases for April, and today the stamp set we are sharing with you is called "A Special Lady".

Here is some info on "A Special Lady":

If you check out everyone's blog, you will find that the large focal images happen to be flowers...which seems fitting since this stamp set is all about the women in your life.  I always like creating projects with stamp sets that have flowers, because I can showcase how to use them without coloring.  If you frequent my blog at all...you know that I have labeled myself as the non-coloring stamper.  Occasionally I will color in something minimally with colored pencils, but that is about it.  I do paper piece a bit too, but I really love to showcase how to use stamps in their most simplest form.  And that is what I did with my card for today, and I just LOVE how it turned out.  The flowers have the perfect amount of detail to stand on their own.  Without further ado, here is my card:

Happy Sunday everyone!!  How has your weekend been?  I hope a good one so far!!  Ours has been fun, and a little lazy...which I just LOVE!  So, I have a few different things to share today...and they are all pretty irrelevant from each other.

So, first up...I have been asked to be on the WPlus9 design team, and I couldn't be more thrilled!!  I am starting immediately, and will share my first card with you tomorrow for the start of the April release!!  Yay!  CLICK HERE to see the blog post at WPlus9 introducing me. 

Second, I just have a cute little office themed mini card set to share with you.  I wanted to break out some of these oldies but goodies from Lawn Fawn, and a mini set was the perfect choice for what I wanted to do.  I also created them for the Just Add Ink challenge #61, to just use stamps.  Well, I fudged it a little bit...and added a small rhinestone to each card.  They just kind-of needed it....:) 

Oh yes...another post today!!  That is because today is also the Taylored Expression "Blast from the Past" blog hop!!

I also used the current Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger: A Citrus Celebration, Hand Stamped Sentiments #60 and FTL 132 from the Clean & Simple Stamping blog! Here is my card!

Hi everyone!  Today I have six cards to share with you that were done for the GCD Studios booth at CHA!  First up is the card I created using Animal Crackers for Boys.  I filled in the chip-arted hearts with a white pen!  Easy as pie, and really helps them stand out!
Next up is my card using Animal Crackers for Girls!  These papers are so cute and sweet...they make such lovely baby cards!  I used the same technique as above to fill in the chip-arted flowers on the heart, but then also glittered the heat and added some jewels!! 
Up next is the card I created for the Funhouse collection.  This paper collection is SO much fun to use...I just love the amazing colors and fun patterns it has!  For this one I just chip-arted the stars and then painted over.  I didn't feel any need to color them in...they stood out enough as is!
Up next is a fun little card using the Scandia Jul paper collection.  I just ADORE this Christmas themed collection.  The colors are fabulous and the patterns are awesome!
I used the new Soul Food papers for this card, and they are fabulous!  To get the scalloped border, I just cut off one edge of a chipboard scalloped frame from the Chip Art collection.  They are perfect for the card maker who loves to use fun borders!
And one more using the Soul Food collection...I love the fact that the collection includes fun and bright colors, as well as rich and muted tones as well!  Very versatile!

Sigh...isn't that about the sweetest sentiment in the world?!  I can't believe I haven't ever used it before!  So, it makes me very happy that I broke out this cute little stamp set for my card to share today.

Today I have my card to share with you for CPS Sketch #210.  I will admit...I racked my brain for quite a bit on this sketch.  I loved it, but was having a hard time coming up with product I wanted to use for it.  Then I pulled out this butterfly die and the stamp set that matched it...and then pulled out this fabulous piece of Glitz paper, and it all came together wonderfully!!  Yay!!  It also fits the A Spoon Full of Sugar #144 (use ribbon, pearls & flowers).  Here it is:

Today we are doing another preview of the "Say Cheese" sets.  Since there were two sets, we figured having two days of posts would be best!  I went with another rainbow theme for "Say Cheese"...the theme just seems fitting for some reason!  This time the rainbow is in the form of a Cricut cut, and I just love how it turned out.  Here it is!

The stamp set we are previewing today is called "Plus One", and it is just the sweetest and cutest little baby stamp set you have ever seen!!  You are going to just love this adorable little stamp set!  So, without further ado...here is card #1.  It's mini sized at 4x4, and would be perfect to dress up a package or gift bag!

Happy Sunday, all!!  Well, today starts the exciting March release of Lawn Fawn stamps!!  I just have to tell you...you are going to be blown away this month {not that you aren't every month}!!  The stamps are so much fun, and have so many possibilities!!

Today we are giving you the first peek into "Say Cheese" and "Say Cheese too"!  These stamps are SO fun and trendy and awesome...the list of adjectives could go on and on.  They are awesome for cards, and I think they would be completely awesome for scrapbooking as well!  I don't scrapbook as much any more, but have been thinking that I might start up again....just on a less demanding level than before.  And I would LOVE to use this set on a layout about my career choice...they just fit perfectly!  Anyways...without further ado, here is the card I came up with for today:

Today is also the day that I take part in the Reject Blog Hop for the recent Paper Crafts "Go To Sketches" call.  Tee hee!  That title makes me laugh a little, although that is exactly what the cards are that didn't get picked up.  Here is the thing...they had like 2700 something submissions for this call, so I didn't expect too much.  I did get one card picked up for the issue, and that definitely makes me very happy!! So, yay!!  But, this little card didn't make the cut for sketch #6.  It isn't the most exciting card in the world, so I can see why.  But, I still think it is pretty cute!! This card also fits the "Less is More" Week 5 challenge: to use pastel colors.  Here is the card!

Happy Tuesday, everyone!!  I hope that you had a great start of your week yesterday.  I got a bunch of emails sent out to prospective wedding clients, which had been hanging over my head for a couple of weeks.  It NEEDED to get done, and I finally just sat down at my computer for quite a few hours and got it done.  That is a good thing!!

I have a cute little clean and simple card to share with you today!  I took the week off from the Make It Monday challenge last week, as I didn't have any fun foam in the house and didn't really want to run out and buy it when I most likely won't use it again.  But, I am back in action this week with Make It Monday #5: Distressing Edges, and I love this easy and cost effective technique that Lisa Johnson shared with us for this challenge.  I haven't ever wanted to purchase one of those edge distressing things because I wasn't sure how much use I would actually get out of it.  {Hey- I'm frugal.  I'll shout it from the rooftops...I don't like to buy unnecessary things! Tee hee!}  But, I never though to just use the edge of scissors...which I have plenty of, trust me!  Tee hee!  I also used the current challenge at CR84FN18 (orange, yellow, kraft), and just added in a little bit of neutral white to make the dots & sentiment stand out a bit more.  Here is what I came up with!
